Camp Activities

Mohawk offers a wide variety of activities for campers in the areas of Waterfront, Arts, Sports & Adventure and Farm. Our program is entirely elective based - campers can choose to do the activities that interest them!

On the first Sunday evening of each session girls select four elective activities for the week. These activities are instructional in nature and are about an hour long each, Monday through Friday. Girls choose new elective activities each week.

All of the Waterfront activities are set on the scenic Mohawk Pond. As the only establishment on its shores, the girls enjoy this great location to explore, learn, and take in the view.

That's a lot of arts programs! With the increasing interest, we are continually expanding the classes offered to meet the girls' interests. Girls learn to express themselves through their creativity at Mohawk.

We aim to offer a wide range of activities for every skill level. Mohawk is a great place to pick up a bow and arrow for the first time, or fine tune some Field Hockey skills.

Farm

The stables are a popular place to be! When not teaching girls how to ride, the 22 horses spend their time grazing in the pastures and wishing they were Mohawk campers. The Animal Husbandry activitiy (commonly called Farm) allows campers to interact with the baby chickens and turkeys and learn to care for our sheep and goats. If you're interested in learning how to care for horses, Stable Management is a class worth signing up for.
