Junior Counselor

(Minimum age 16, minimum 4 week commitment)

Base pay: $140/week

Maximum Junior Counselor salary: $180/week

Dates of Employment: To be arranged with the Director.

Counselor/Activity Instructor

(Minimum age 18, nine week season)

Base pay: $200/week

Maximum Counselor salary: $250/week

A bonus system is explained during the agreement and interview. The actual salary will be lower with a large bonus after satisfactory completion of your agreement.

Dates of Employment: 8am Sunday, June 17 until 4pm Saturday, August 18

International Counselor

Pay is according to the terms of your agency agreement.

Unit Leader/Program Directors

(Minimum age 21, ten week season)

Base pay: $1442 - $1850

Add $1,400 bonus if entire period of employment is satisfactorily completed

Maximum Unit Leader/Program Directors salary & bonus: $3,290

Dates of Employment: 8:00am Monday, June 12 until 4:00pm Saturday, August 18

Support Staff

(Kitchen, Maintenance, Office, ten week season)

Base pay: $1,130 - $1,545

Add $1,100 - $1,490 bonus if entire period of employment is satisfactorily completed

Maximum Support Staff salary & bonus for ten week season: $3,035

Additional pay for extra weeks worked as per agency contract.

Dates of Employment: To be arranged with the Director.

Training

In instances where YMCA Camp Mohawk provides an opportunity for staff to attend a certification training program such as ropes course, archery, canoeing, rowing, sailing, lifesaving, etc., Camp Mohawk will pay the course fee.

Time spent attaining certifications at Mohawk's expense is not reimbursable.

In the event of early departure from Mohawk, the course fee will be prorated and any balance due will be deducted from the contracted compensation amount.
