Position: Office Assistant                                         Responsible to: Office Manager

 

Qualifications:

1.   Minimum age of 20

2.   Familiarity with general office functions

3.   Emotional maturity, good moral character, & integrity

4.   Knowledge of database & word processing

5.   An understanding & acceptance of the fundamental aims and objectives of the YMCA in general and of

      YMCA CampMohawk

6.   Able to walk one mile in 15 minutes without assistance.

7.   Able to lift large box weighing 40 pounds to a height of 48”

 

Primary Responsibilities:

1. General Office Duties -

            a.   Database entry

            b.   Filing

            c.   Receiving phone calls and maintaining log of incoming calls

            d.   Incoming and outgoing mail

            e.   Assisting with Sign-in and Sign-out days

            f.   Assisting with Bunkmate scheduling

            g.   Maintaining inventory of office supplies

            h.   Maintaining store cards- i.e. sales, laundry, mass fees, change over, etc.

            i.   Assisting with store inventory

            j.   Assisting with 1st & 2nd week activity sign-ups

            k.   Making copies

 

2. Weekend coverage as scheduled by office manager.

3. All bugle responsibilities including Reveille and Taps.

4. Any other duties as assigned by the Director, Assistant Director or Office Manager.
