FINANCIAL AID
At YMCA Camp Mohawk, we believe that every girl should have the opportunity to experience the joy and growth that comes from attending summer camp. We understand that financial circumstances can sometimes make this difficult, which is why we offer financial aid to families in need. Through the generosity of the Camp Mohawk community, we are pleased to provide financial assistance to qualifying families.
Each year the staff, volunteers, and Trustees of YMCA Camp Mohawk engage in a serious effort to raise funds to subsidize children who otherwise would not be able to participate in the YMCA Camp Mohawk program. It is through the generosity of alumni, vendors, other camper families, friends of Mohawk, and other foundations and organizations, that we are able to provide assistance.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply for financial aid, please complete the Campership Application Form. Along with the application, you will need to provide:

A copy of your most recent tax return or proof of income

Any extenuating circumstances that may affect your ability to pay for camp
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and decisions will be made based on financial need and available funding.

AVAILABILITY
Financial aid is available for all camp sessions, including overnight camp and day camp. Even if a session appears to be full, spots are reserved specifically for campers receiving financial aid.
FUNDING
The Campership program is funded through donations, grants, and fundraising efforts. We are grateful for the support of our community partners and donors who make it possible for us to offer financial aid to families in need.
