CAMP LIFE

Mohawk is all about singing, laughing, learning, having fun and making friends.

And while you are having the time of your life, you are also learning confidence, independence and life skills.

CAMP FACILITIES

Map of YMCA Camp Mohawk

From basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, a sports field, an archery range, we have a wide range of sport facilities. A nature center, garden, overnight campsites, hiking trails and photography darkroom add to our activity offerings. Our craft activities are located in our ceramic studio, bake shop and arts and crafts center.

The Mohawk barn houses our Farm Program as well as stables for our 20+ horses and three riding rings for our Equestrian Program. Our Rec Hall has a stage where our Drama Productions and Talent Shows are held.

Situated on Mohawk Pond, we have a large swim area (designated into shallow and deep water areas), several inflatable water toys (referred to as “Bouncies” by Mohawkers), sailboats, windsurfers, row boats, kayaks, funyaks, canoes and lots of lifeguards!

Our well-equipped Health Center is supervised by our registered nurse, who cares for camper’s health 24 hours a day.

Our meals are served family-style in our spacious Dining Hall by our professional kitchen staff. Campers enjoy a wide range of delicious meals, plus our salad bar and our weekly cookouts on the beach. Check out our Sample Menu below for more dining information!

CABIN LIFE

Camp Mohawk has 24 screened camper cabins with electricity. Each cabin of 8 to 10 girls is supervised by two counselors.
